and here they are...

this are faniri and jonathan

Rado:
Rado is the oldest one of my brothers. He has finished his studies in Informatics and is now part-time working. He knows everybody and helped to change my money (don’t know how he got to know the people he changed the money with, but he said I got a lot more money than changing it at the bank). He also managed to “decode” my phone so now I can use it down here.

Olivaharilala / Gabriel:
Olala is 22 years old. He studies in Antananarivo. Like all his brothers he loves music and is really good in playing saxophone (his two uncles are the most famous saxophone players in Madagascar). He already started to teach me some tunes … - but we still need to work on it.
He said he’ll borrow his uncles car so we can have a ride through Madagascar. Maybe it’ll work out….!!!

Michael:
Mich is going normally going to finish school in the next weeks and has my age. He is a quiet boy but real helpful (lik all of them). Saturday, the first day I came back from hospital on my own, he waited for me at the bus stop so I wouldn’t get lost!

Elia:
Elia turned 17 three days ago and he is still going to school. I really appreciate him: he always cooks for the whole family. – And: he’s a real good cook! (Oh, by the way: I ate my first chicken on Saturday). He plays the drums and sings in a choral with very nice people (he took me to his birthday party and I had a long talk about Christianity with his friends. They cannot understand how I can live without belonging to any religious).

Jonathan:
After being very shy the first two days, now he’s the one I spend most of my time with. We play a lot of games and he shows me how everything works. A few days ago he explained me how to take a shower (!!!), today he helped me to wash my cloth and beside that, he teaches me to talk in Malagasy.

Faniri
…he passed his Bacc today. He is not a family member but spends all his time with us. First I didn’t even notice that he doesn’t belong to us. Then I counted the five boys and they were six. That’s when I noticed that Faniri is not one of the brothers.

Doctor Olivier:
Father of my five brothers. I just got to know him two days ago. He is quiet funny but seems to be very strict with his boys. He doesn’t stop talking to me and is really curious to explain me the life in Madagascar. Today he bought me “real sugar” (I don’t know the English name) but it was really good! He is a doctor and works for the church.

Voahangy
Mother of five boys. She is “Hebamme” (I don’t know the English expression). She always wanted to have a girl and so is very happy to have me here. She doesn’t talk a lot but is a very cheerful lady. She likes to give me little presents. Tomorrow we will be going shopping because there is a marriage coming up and I didn’t think about bringing “good” clothes with me.

Doctor Davidson:
I guess he is around 30 years old and also getting work experience in the hospital. He really explains me everything and will soon be off to the countryside. There, he is going to work in a hospital with nothing. There is no phone, no post, no road (you can only go there by boat or airplaine) ….just nothing. I could go there if I want to. Still have to think about it.
Buy the way: the younger doctors told me that they earn 60 000 Ariary a month, that would mean 22 Euros a month (or 266 Euros a year). Shocking, isn’t it?
